Country music, good fishing, and even better company—what could beat that? Nothing, which is why we're so excited about the upcoming Field & Stream Music Fest, which is October 4 to 6 in Winnsboro, South Carolina. And one of the things we're most excited about at the three-day event is the Fish on America Expo hosted by Ugly Stik.
Whether you're a beginner angler or a a seasoned pro, there's something for everyone at the massive fishing event, from demos and seminars to out-on-the-water action. Here's everything you can do at the Ugly Stik Fish on America Expo:
1. Compete in casting competitions
Think you have the best cast out there? Go up against other festival goers—and fellow anglers—for a chance to win exclusive Ugly Stik fishing gear.
2. Hang out with pro anglers
No matter your level of experience, there's always something else you can learn—and someone else you can learn from. Some of the industry's most beloved pro anglers will be hosting informative seminars (along with fun meet and greets!) and will even demonstrate some of their favorite techniques in the on-site fully stocked Berkley bass tank.
3. Test the latest gear
Get some hands-on time with some of the newest gear (think: rods, reels, lures, and tools) from top fishing brands like Ugly Stik, Abu Garcia, Berkley and Greys.
4. Embark on a fishing excursion
Yes, there will be a lake at the festival and yes, you can actually go fishing on it. Ugly Stik is running fishing excursions where you can get out on the water and see who can catch the biggest bass of the weekend.
5. Score limited-edition swag

6. Get a haircut
