Sitka Gear has been up to some exciting stuff lately, from its first new camo print in seven years to the recently released Turkey Tool Belt (a big hit for last year's turkey season). Since it was founded in 2005, the popular hunting apparel brand has grown its collection to include almost any clothing you could want for almost any hunt. The only thing that's been missing? Footwear—until now. Sitka just came out with its first-ever line-up of hunting boots, and they're just as badass as you'd expect.

The new footwear collection consists of two boots: the Back40 Boot and the VentLite GTX Boot. Both come in three colorways, including a camo: Optifade Cover, Earth, and Olive Green. While we're currently in the process of testing each boot (stay tuned for our full review!), here's the scoop on each, including how to get your hands on a pair for yourself before they sell out.

If you're looking for a sturdy rubber boot that you can wear year-round—whether you're tackling farm chores, scouting in the woods, or heading to the duck blind—the Back40 boot is a solid pick. They're completely waterproof with 800 grams of Thinsulate insulation for all-season warmth. The molded EVA midsole is designed to fit similar to a sneaker, so they're definitely going to be comfortable enough for all-day wear.

The Ventlite GTX boot is what we're most excited about with this launch. According to Sitka, they're the only boot on the market with a "fully breathable, waterproof GORE-TEX laminate upper." In basic English? They'll keep your feet warm and dry no matter the conditions. The 1600 grams of Primaloft insulation is designed to regulate the temperature of your feet (no sweaty soles here), while the Vibram outsole offers plenty of traction on even the most slippery, rough terrain. Plus, they're lightweight to boot—pun intended. In short, they're a great, versatile choice for any style of hunter.
